Midnight golf in June and July is a must at Lofoten Links

It is easy to be romantic about our wonderful sport at Prestwick – the home of the first Open championship.

This was the birthplace of Scotland's most feted fighter, Robert The Bruce, and the site of one of golf's most famous showdowns.

It was home to one of the world's most famous apricots, but sadly, my golf on Moor Park's handsome High Course was neither tasty nor jammy.

This is where Justin Rose honed his talent, and he often speaks publicly of his fondness for his home club.
